Tilly Mint goes through the Simpson Bay bridge!

As I mentioned in the previous post, Tilly Mint had to spend last week at the dock in the St Martin lagoon to have her rig tuned. That means that we had to sail through the Simpson Bay bridge twice, so we chose an innocent victim and sent him up the mast with our HD camera on a helmet to film our entrance into the lagoon. The way out was filmed from the bow a few days later. Watch the video by clicking on this link:

NB: We did NOT go through the bridge doing 12 knots - the speed of the video has been slightly increased to make it shorter and more exciting!

We arrived in St Lucia on Monday after a 36-hour upwind sail, which confirmed that the rig tune was a success. Tilly Mint sailed fast and made her crew happy!
